With over 25 years of experience in the beauty industry and a decade as a maxillofacial nurse at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, Mel’s career has always been driven by a desire to serve others. Her transition from healthcare to the beauty industry wasn’t just a career change—it was an expansion of her mission to heal and empower.
Mel’s unique journey, beginning in the medical field, laid a strong foundation for her work in beauty and holistic therapies. Witnessing the physical and emotional impact of illness firsthand inspired her to create a sanctuary where beauty meets compassion.

Mel’s dedication to excellence led her to train with world-renowned micropigmentation artist and trainer, Vicky Martin. Vicky is a pioneer in 3D medical areola tattooing, a technique that brings a natural, three-dimensional appearance to the areola for mastectomy patients. Under Vicky’s expert guidance, Mel mastered the artistry and precision required for this life-changing treatment.
